God shows Moses His power by turning his staff into a serpent (and back) and turning his hand leprous (and back). He responds to Moses’s final objection by giving him his brother Aaron as a spokesperson. God says He will harden Pharaoh’s heart. Moses returns to Egypt.
Why it mattersPermalink
God answers all of Moses’s objections with expressions of power. God didn’t call Moses, and doesn’t call you, because of who you are, but because of who God is. He hardens Pharaoh’s heart so that all might know His power.
