God appears to Moses in the burning bush and tells him to bring Israel out of Egypt. God names Himself: “I AM”. God promises to bring Israel out of Egypt with miracles and wonders.
Why it mattersPermalink
God commits to Moses the promise He had made to Abraham to bring them back out of Egypt. Moses tries twice to get out of it, but God promises to overcome his weakness.
