A prophetic voice refuses silence until Zion’s righteousness shines before the nations. God replaces “Forsaken” and “Desolate” with “My Delight Is in Her” and “Married,” rejoicing over His restored people like a bridegroom. He appoints watchmen who continually remind Him of His promises until Jerusalem becomes renowned. God swears enemies will no longer consume Zion’s harvest. The way is prepared, salvation comes, and the people receive new names: Holy, Redeemed, Sought Out, and Not Forsaken.

God will transform forsaken Zion into His delighted bride and renowned holy city, and He appoints watchmen to pray until it happens. Their persistent intercession participates in hopeful waiting for promises God has already sworn to fulfill. Zion’s shame becomes visible righteousness as salvation approaches and the nations recognize her new identity. Revelation 22:12 echoes verse 11’s announcement of coming salvation and reward in Christ’s return.
