Just as false prophets arose in Israel, false teachers will arise among Christians. They will secretly spread destructive teaching, deny the Lord who bought them, and exploit others through greed and sensuality. Judgment is certain: God did not spare sinful angels, the ancient world in Noah’s day, or Sodom and Gomorrah, though He rescued Noah and Lot. These teachers are arrogant, irrational, and insatiable for sin. They lure people only recently escaping error, promising freedom while remaining slaves of corruption themselves; the result is deeper bondage, not freedom.
