Paul closes with a solemn warning: if the Corinthians remain unrepentant, he will not hesitate to use the authority Christ gave him to correct them. Just as Christ was crucified in weakness but lives by God’s power, so Paul, though weak in himself, will act with Christ’s strength when he comes. His goal, however, is not to punish but to restore—to use his authority to build up, not tear down. The letter ends with a benediction invoking the grace of Jesus, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
